Allow traveling Troubadour Desmond Curran to enthrall you with his one-man show. Combining original material such as spoken word,
acoustic guitar and rap with excerpts from literary and cinematic favorites, he provides a unique and deeply personal evening of theater.
Born in Anchorage Alaska and journeying throughout the country during his life, he draws on experiences with the kaleidoscope of people
he’s encountered and the varied jobs he’s held. Informed by his lifelong love of the Sea and utilizing Herman Melville’s Moby Dick as inspiration,
he creates a distinctly individual performance that examines many of today’s most pressing issues: mental health, social media, global instability,
isolation, and climate change. The storytelling is all achieved with Desmond’s characteristic traits of humor and sensitivity,
and with an eye towards hope and ultimately, healing.
